TYPES OF FINISHES
Finish is the final surface applied to the face of stone during fabrication.
Finish is independent of color, but can influence the intensity of color.
ImExWare offers different types of finishes, which contributes to the beauty of the stone, it's durability and it's use in a variety of applications and designs on your project.
Our Split Face is chiseled by hand so that the face of the stone exhibits the natural quarry texture. Combination of sizes can be used to create many designs, full pieced corners are available or if you like just miter your own corners.
Our corners are chiseled, then thinly cut producing a one piece corner. A full piece will hide the thickness of our veneer and please remember we don't cut corners we make them one piece.
Our ledge stone is 2" x random split face pieces installed on a 12" x 24" mesh for easier installation. They interlock together and they come with one piece vertical and horizontal corners. Other size pieces can be inserted as well on the mesh, as you desire.
This finish is Polished or Honed and then the edge is chiseled. It is used in combination with the Split Face finish as well.
1" X random pieces glued together creating an interlocking panel of 12X24 any combination of colors can be mixed or choose one of our mixure like our Mocha Almond Biscotti or Hazel Nutt Biscotti color.
A process that produces an orange peel texture tile. Textures vary from subtle to rough. Can be used on commercial and residential buildings, floors and walls, the designs and uses are limited only by your imagination. (Can also be used to accentuate our other finishes as trim, borders or in mixed design around windows, on fireplaces, in kitchens, bathrooms, entry way or as a cool pool decking, etc., you be the creator).
We stock 8" x random of all colors. Random is from 4" to 24". Any size can be made on a special order as well as one piece corner. Allow around 3months for delivery on special orders.
Our coping is 12" x 12" x 1.5". It is finished on both sides Honed and Bush hammered with a polished bull nose. It can be used not only around pools but also as a planter and wall cap, window seat, stairs.
Wainscot Cap is used to cap an unfinished edge it can be polished bull nosed or chiseled and available size is 12" X 1.5" X what ever depth you desire.
Small stones are tumbled to create a weathered rustic finish. Affixed on a net backing, piece-by-piece, for easy installation on any interior or exterior wall or floor surface. Can be used on commercial and residential buildings, the designs and uses are limited only by your imagination. (Entry way, walk ways, shower pan, swimming pool, etc., you be the creator)
We stock 12" x 12" and 6" x 12" of all colors. Using our 18 colors you can create any design.
Small stones are tumbled to create a weathered rustic finish. Affixed on an interlocking net backing, piece-by-piece, for easy installation and available size is 12" X 12".
Random height and length pieces glued together to create 12" X 24" interlocking panels. You can mix your own colors or you can chose from our own mix.
Gracefully we clise the skin of a bolder without processing the finish, keeping it's natural look as it is quarried.
